Rhinoplasty hump removal (humpectomy) is a surgery to smooth out the nasal bone by removing the projecting hump in the middle of nasal bone. Correction of cartilage and bone is done by calculating the possibility of hump recurrence so that hump returning chance is minimized and beautiful nose is created.

Upturned nose and short nose are considered to be the most difficult case in rhinoplasty category. Surgery is performed precisely after analyzing the deviated bone structure through 3D CT scan. For the best result, it is recommended to have the surgery done by an experienced plastic surgeon.

Trim the cartilage smaller and gather them to the middle. Cartilages of ears or septum are inserted in the space between spread alar cartilages for nasal tip to look narrower.

Spread alar cartilages

Trim the cartilages smaller and both sides are sutured and tied so that the septum connected from lower part gets elevated for sharper nasal tip.
CASE 03

Thick layer of fat on nasal tip

Fat is removed to make nasal tip sharper and flat nasal tip or bone gets raised by using autologous tissues.
