Rhinoplasty using 3D-CT is the method that precisely examines nose structure through 3D-CT scan for finding out a
functional problem of nose such as hooked nose, crooked nose or a problem raised from primary rhinoplaslty.
Therefore, the effect of rhinoplasty can be higher.
For nose bridge- we use Gore-Tex and artificial silicon
For nose tip- we use autologous cartilage from nasal septum and ear
(Different type of material can be used depending on the nose shape and thickness of the skin)
Right after the surgery, it is helpful to apply an ice-pack continuously till swelling gets subsided
After the surgery, you may have bruises and swelling that are shown differently to each patient. When sleeping, avoid
putting the head down or lying upside down. 2-3 soft pillows are useful in reducing swelling and pain while sleeping.
After the surgery, nosebleeds possibly occur for about 2days. When it does, gently wipe out the bleeds with clean tissue.
After the surgery, tapes should keep attached on till the implant used in nose surgery gets settled down onto a right place.
(Do not take them off intentionally)
After the surgery, avoid drinking or smoking for at least 3-4weeks since they cause delaying healing process.
After the surgery, avoid blowing nose, and do not wear glasses or sunglasses for a month.
Major swelling gets subsided from nose bridge area after one week, and then minor swelling will still remain onto
glabellas and nose tip. However, a degree of minor swelling will be shown differently to each patient.
Avoid going for sauna or hot spring for at least 3weeks.
After the procedure, swelling occurs in everyone but the degree of it shows differently according to
individual’s physical constitution.
